We have a current opening for an FSQ Incoming Lab Manager and are actively reviewing applications. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Food Safety Quality Incoming Lab Manager to join our quality assurance team. This role is critical to ensure all incoming raw materials, ingredients, and packaging meet our stringent food safety and quality standards before entering production.Main Responsibilities:
Manage adaptation, roll-out, and monitoring of ingredients, WIP, and product aspects by interfacing with Group stakeholders Supervise and train QA techs Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for incoming inspections Follow, for Food Safety aspects, local authorities, certifications requirements and all the external companies' specifications that have an impact on the Plant Review and approve certificates of analysis (CoA) and supplier documentation Investigate and document non-conformances; coordinate corrective actions with suppliers Support the implementation of new production lines or the production of new product for the Plant to capture all possible point of attention on Food Safety aspects (e.g. new allergens and cross contamination risk), Quality aspects and performs risk analysis and identifies possible solutions Assist with Food Safety andHACCP/ FSMA
plans, and Prerequisite Programs (PRPs), through a continuous risk analysis (leveraging on FS & Quality plant KPIs)About You:
Minimum 4-7 years' experience in Food Safety Quality within food manufacturing/production Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and testing methodologies Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis Excellent organizational and communication skills Proficiency in SAP is preferred. Knowledge and experience with microbiological analysis Knowledge and experience with Root Cause Analysis tools/methodology Food safety certification (PCQI, HACCP, or SQF) Project management experience Ability to match or detect differences in color, including shades & brightness, ability to see details, ability to compare similarities & differences quickly & accurately Artificial Intelligence Disclosure As part of our recruitment process, Ferrero may use artificial intelligence (AI) enabled tools to assist with reviewing candidate applications.
