Requirements:
Associate's degree in a related field. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Five years phlebotomy experience.ASCP/ASPT
certification preferred.Responsibilities:
Supervise, schedule, and evaluates phlebotomy personnel. Provide training, onboarding, and ongoing competency assesments. Processes specimens accurately (orders tests and provides documentation) adhering to laboratory policies and procedures. Ensure proper blood collection techniques and specimen handling. Provides effective communication and if needed feedback with staff members about laboratory issues. Develops and maintains quality standards and monitors procedures in conformance with requirements of accrediting agencies. Ensure positive patient interactions and satisfaction. Address patient concerns or complaints. Oversees workflow, staffing levels, and productivity. Schedule Monday- Friday, flexibility to work weekends as required to support departmental operations.
Pay Range:
Hourly/Non-Exempt $27.00- $40.
