Pay Range:
$57.28hr - $62.28hr We are seeking a hands-on Lab Operations Specialist to support laboratory operations, equipment maintenance, and logistics in a research and development environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and experience managing lab workflows, inventory, and equipment to ensure smooth and compliant operations. This role focuses on lab operations and support activities and does not involve performing chemistry-related responsibilities.
Requirement/Must Have:
Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment maintenance and operations. Experience with HPLC or UPLC systems and laboratory information management systems. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage schedules effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience working in collaborative team environments.
Responsibilities:
Provide on-site support for laboratory operations, equipment maintenance, and instrumentation upkeep. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and required training. Manage inventory, purchasing, and shipping of laboratory supplies and materials. Maintain laboratory equipment and support installation of new equipment. Coordinate service requests and work with service engineers for timely issue resolution. Schedule and manage calibration activities for laboratory equipment. Develop and maintain training documentation for equipment usage and workflows. Coordinate with IT teams for laboratory system and computer support. Assist with shipping and logistics of chemical samples and materials, including international coordination. Monitor and maintain laboratory consumables and supplies. Oversee laboratory space management and ensure efficient utilization of shared resources. Generate experimental data as required following established protocols.
Experience:
Bachelor s degree with at least 3 years of relevant laboratory experience or Master s degree in a related field.
Skills:
Laboratory operations and equipment management. Inventory and logistics coordination. Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. Documentation and compliance. Communication and teamwork.
Qualification And Education:
Bachelor s degree in Chemistry or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Master s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
