Job Description
The Specimen Management Manager is a high energy, charismatic leader with a strong people first mindset in a fast paced, high volume laboratory environment. These individual builds engaged, high performing teams through coaching, development, and accountability, while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. With a strong background in process optimization and lean transformation, the manager identifies inefficiencies and implements sustainable improvements that enhance throughput, quality, and consistency. They use data driven decision making and standard work to deliver measurable results and support a strong customer experience. This role is responsible for end-to-end specimen management, ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable flow across testing platforms while maintaining high quality and compliance standards. The manager leads approximately 6 direct reports, including supervisors and trainers, developing leadership capability and driving alignment across teams and shifts. Flexibility is essential, as this leader supports off shift and weekend coverage as needed. Overall, this role is critical to driving operational performance, team engagement, and consistent, high quality laboratory results.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday with some flexibility to work off shifts and weekends This is an Onsite position with 6 direct reports includingSupervisors and Trainers Pay Range:
$120,000 - $167,000/ year with 15% Bonus Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.Benefits Information:
