Lab Manager/ Research Associate (Histology) About Celnovte Biotech Celnovte Biotech develops and manufactures advanced pathological diagnostic reagents and instruments. We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and execution-focused Lab Manager / Research Associate to lead day-to-day laboratory operations and manage our in-house FFPE tissue bank. This role is not an entry-level training position . It requires prior hands-on laboratory experience, strong organizational discipline, and the ability to independently manage complex workflows with high accuracy. The position combines histology bench work with lab operations ownership (inventory, logistics, SOPs, and documentation) . Success in this role depends on precision, consistency, and accountability.

https://www.celnovte.com/ Key Responsibilities 20% — Tissue Bank Management & Microtome Sectioning Manage the in-house FFPE tissue block inventory (receiving, labeling, tracking, storage, and audit readiness). Perform microtome sectioning and ensure slide quality and consistency. Support IHC experiments and assist with basic result documentation and review as needed. Source, order, and evaluate tissues from external providers; maintain a robust tissue panel for internal QC. 40% — Laboratory Support (Light Bench Work) Support R&D activities, including: RunningSDS-PAGE
Preparing buffers and routine reagents Assisting with antibody/oligonucleotide conjugation workflows Performing immunoassays (e.g., fluorescenceIHC, ELISA
) 10% — Laboratory Maintenance & Equipment Support Monitor equipment status and routine performance; coordinate and/or perform calibration, troubleshooting, and minor repairs as appropriate. Draft, update, and maintain SOPs related to equipment use and preventive maintenance. Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date equipment maintenance logs. 15% — Inventory Management (Reagents & Consumables) Maintain inventory levels to support fast-paced production and R&D needs. Submit purchasing requests through the company's electronic administrative system and follow through to receipt and stocking. Communicate with vendors to resolve supply issues (backorders, substitutions, lead times). Keep inventory records current, organized, and inspection-ready. 15% — Logistics & Administration Coordinate logistics between U.S. and China facilities, including shipment preparation and documentation. Support U.S. customer order fulfillment/logistics as needed. Track inventory staged for shipment (to China and to U.S. customers) and ensure accuracy and on-time processing. Requirements Bachelor's degree plus 1-2 years of hands-on lab experience , OR Master's degree with substantial thesis-based laboratory research (hands-on, experiment-driven; not course-only programs) Hands-on experience in histology lab work (IHC required; microtome sectioning strongly preferred) Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation Work in a high-detail, low-error-tolerance environment Follow SOPs strictly and consistently Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple operational tasks simultaneously Preferred Qualifications Experience running and troubleshooting IHC workflows (manual or automated) Experience in a regulated or quality-focused environment (GLP, GMP, or similar) Prior responsibility for inventory, lab operations, or tissue/sample management What We Are Looking For High attention to detail and low tolerance for errors Strong sense of ownership and accountability Organized, methodical, and consistent working style Ability to work independently without close supervision Patience and discipline in repetitive, precision-based tasksJob Types:
