Microbiology Manager OR Micro Laboratory Manager Opening Outside of Kansas City

Position Highlights:

Opportunity to manage a microbiology laboratory within an established healthcare organization! Oversight of Supervisors and Technicians/Technologists. Responsible for staff hiring, orientation, competency and ongoing training. Also, providing performance feedback to staff. Managing day to day operations of the microbiology laboratory including ensuring laboratory compliance, develops and implementing policies and procedures. Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology or Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent). Masters Preferred. MLS/MT, SM or M ASCP Certification (or equivalent) At least 3 years of experience in a microbiology leadership position.
