  • Water Pollution Control Division The City of North Kansas City is seeking a qualified professional to administer its EPA-approved Industrial Pretreatment Program and manage Water Pollution Control Facility laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer the Industrial Pretreatment Program per 40 CFR Part 403 and MDNR requirements
  • Conduct industrial user permitting, inspections, compliance monitoring, and enforcement
  • Oversee laboratory operations including QA/QC, analytical testing, and regulatory reporting
  • Supervise WPC laboratory staff and coordinate sampling and monitoring activities
  • Prepare annual pretreatment reports and serve as the City's primary regulatory contact
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Wastewater Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered
  • Must be able to obtain a Class C Wastewater License wihtin one year of employment.
  • Valid driver's license required
Compensation:
$62,442
