Direct Hire Opportunity RL Enterprise Recruiting & Staffing is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Supervisor, Core Laboratory Technical Operations. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily laboratory operations within the Core Laboratory while ensuring quality, compliance, operational efficiency, and team development. Position Summary The Supervisor, Core Laboratory Technical Operations will provide leadership and oversight for laboratory staff and operations within a designated clinical testing area. This position plays a critical role in supporting patient care initiatives, maintaining regulatory compliance, improving operational performance, and fostering a positive team environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical laboratory experience combined with leadership capabilities and a commitment to operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily laboratory operations and workflow management Collaborate with laboratory leadership, pathologists, and clinical teams to support patient care initiatives Ensure quality standards, turnaround times, and operational goals are consistently achieved Maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory and accrediting agencies including CLIA, CAP, OSHA, FDA, and Joint Commission standards Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and employee engagement Serve as a subject matter expert within the assigned laboratory discipline Monitor staffing levels, scheduling, and resource utilization Lead, coach, mentor, and develop laboratory staff Assist with hiring, performance management, corrective actions, and employee development Maintain inspection readiness and adherence to laboratory policies and procedures Promote a safe, collaborative, and professional work environment QualificationsEducation & Certifications Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Medical Technology, or related field required MLS, MT, or specialty certification through ASCP or equivalent required Acceptable certifications may include: MLS (ASCP) MT (ASCP) MB, CT, M, HTL, CG, CHT, or equivalent specialty certifications Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in technical laboratory operations required Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred Skills & Knowledge Strong leadership and team development skills Knowledge of laboratory regulatory compliance standards Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Experience with laboratory information systems and computer applications Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally Must follow all PPE and laboratory safety requirements Comfortable working in a clinical laboratory environment Why Apply? ✔ Competitive Compensation ✔ Direct Hire Opportunity ✔ Stable Monday-Friday Schedule ✔ Leadership Growth Potential ✔
