Donor Services Laboratory (DSL) is CLIA certified, CAP accredited, ISO accredited, and FDA registered for screening human cells, tissues, and cellular and tissue - based products (HCT/Ps).

Position Scope:

This is a hands-on Technical Supervisor role responsible for both daily laboratory testing and technical oversight of the Microbiology and Serology sections. The role performs routine and high complexity testing while ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance across all testing activities. The Technical Supervisor works closely with laboratory staff to support workflow, resolve technical issues, maintain regulatory compliance, and ensure timely and accurate reporting of results.

Position Hours:

This is a full-time position with shift hours from 9am to 5:30pm, Monday -

Friday Key Responsibilities:

Perform waived, moderate, and high complexity testing using manual and automated methods Provide technical oversight of Microbiology and Serology testing operations Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance of all testing processes and results Review quality control data and resolve technical or system issues as needed Perform and oversee preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation Ensure proper specimen handling, storage, and testing procedures are followed Monitor turnaround times and support efficient lab workflow Ensure compliance with all SOPs, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards Support proficiency testing and competency assessments Assist in training and onboarding of laboratory staff Review and release test results when appropriate

Required:

Must hold a current Nevada General Supervisor license Experience in Serology and Microbiology Ability to perform and support both benchwork and supervisory responsibilities

Preferred:

Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role Experience with quality systems, proficiency testing, and regulatory compliance
