PCR Lab Supervisor

The Molecular Lab Supervisor oversees laboratory operations, staff, and workflow, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and compliant testing while supporting patient care and maintaining quality and efficiency standards. 1. Delivers the HSO brand promise of putting the patient/customer at the center of all we do . 2. Exhibits brand characteristics of Friendly, Accessible, and Credible. 3. Perform PCR runs, analyze data, and prepare technical reports according to standard operating procedures 4. Direct supervision of all Laboratory staff 5. Direct supervision of all logistical processes and functions 6. Assist in the establishment and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and systems 7. Track and manage sample volume in relation to available capacity 8. Work with medical staff to ensure quality patient care and services are provided 9. Maintain strict confidentiality 10. Meet and exceed quality goals 11. Meet and exceed efficiency metrics 12. Direct the implementation and management of new policies and procedures 13. Participate in routine laboratory tasks 14. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing 15. Strong leadership, problem solving and interpersonal skills 16. Ability to manage change 17. Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time without resting 18. Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor 19. Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects 20.
