• REQUIREMENTS

• Education:

  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a laboratory setting, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Full professional proficiency in Mandarin and English (required for technical reporting and HQ collaboration).
• Deep understanding of genomic services, PCR, or sequencing technologies. Proficiency in LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) and Excel for data tracking.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the warmth to mentor a growing team.

JOB DUTIES

• Team Leadership:

  Supervise daily lab activities, manage technician schedules, and provide hands-on training for new hires during their 90-day training period.

• Operational Excellence:

  Ensure all genomic testing and lab processes adhere to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and quality control standards.

• Bilingual Liaison:

  Translate technical protocols and serve as the primary point of contact for technical discussions with our HQ engineering and science teams.

• Inventory & Equipment:

  Oversee the procurement of lab supplies and ensure all equipment is regularly calibrated and maintained.

• Compliance & Safety:

  Enforce strict adherence to lab safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Assist HR in maintaining safety training records.

• Performance Management:

  Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide technical feedback to the team to ensure professional growth and lab efficiency. HOURS
• Day shift
• Role will require weekly/bi-weekly check-in meetings with HQ office which will involve a time zone difference. The employer expects this to be manageable, likely occurring about once a week (up to 1 hour). PAY
• $80,000/year + Quarterly Bonus based on performance (up to 10%)
