Job Description
Cascade Diagnostics is a CLIA/Cola certified laboratory based in West Linn Oregon. Cascade is currently processing toxicology and molecular testing to include UTI, Wound, GI, Women's health and many others. We are growing and currently in the process of expanding our laboratory and are in search of an experienced lead tech to grow with our company. DUTIES
- Lead and coordinate the daily operations of the laboratory with the supervisor
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and procedures
- Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure accurate and reliable test results
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects
- Process laboratory specimens and ensure turn around times are met
- Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise
- Assist in the development and validation of new laboratory methods and procedures
- Review and ensure accurate test results Experience
- Minimum of an associates degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a laboratory setting
- Strong knowledge and experience with aseptic technique, GLP, Molecular testing, and other relevant laboratory techniques
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and documentation
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and present findings This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced lead tech to help lead a growing laboratory.
