The Senior Manager, Impact Lab (Operational Optimization & Implementation) is responsible for executing, testing, and scaling innovation initiatives generated through the Impact Lab. This role ensures that strategic concepts are translated into operational improvements that deliver measurable results across Goodwill's retail operations, human services programs, and administrative functions. The Senior Manager leads process improvement initiatives, supports pilot implementation, and drives operational optimization with a focus on efficiency, performance, and scalability. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders, including Retail (DGR), Human Services, and Administrative teams, to ensure successful execution and adoption of innovation initiatives. Essential duties include, but are not limited to: Execute selected Impact Lab pilot initiatives across retail, human services, and administrative functions through field research, stakeholder feedback, and best practice evaluation. Evaluate workflows, reporting systems, and operational processes to identify inefficiencies Partner with the Retail Innovation, Optimization, and Technology (RIOT) team to support implementation and optimization of retail operational tools and processes Ensure research methodologies, data collection, and evaluation practices meet professional and ethical standards Support standardization of processes and continuous improvement practices. Collaborate with Human Services leadership to ensure solutions are practical and scalable Support the Director in advancing Impact Lab initiatives through project coordination, reporting, and execution Promote a culture of accountability, execution, and continuous improvement

External Hiring Range:
$75,000
Schedule:
Monday through Friday (8:00am - 4:00pm) . Schedule can vary depending on department needs.
Travel Required:
Occasional travel may be required to Goodwill sites in Southwestern Pennsylvania and North Central West Virginia. High school diploma or equivalent AND 3 years of experience required. OR Associates degree AND 2 years of experience required. OR Bachelor's degree AND 1 years experience required.
Required Experience:
Demonstrated success implementing operational improvements, process changes, or large-scale initiatives Strong experience in process improvement, project management, or operations Ability to analyze data and drive performance improvements Experience supporting or leading operational initiatives in complex environments
Preferred Experience:
Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar) Qualified candidates must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel. Candidates are expected to provide current, valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH) prior to their first day of employment.
