40 hours Job Summary Our Assistant Manager is an essential part of our laboratory team who is responsible for assisting the lab manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising all of the functions within the laboratory including testing, staffing, training, scheduling, maintaining supplies and relating with departments, administration, other labs and physicians. Ensures that services are the best quality, are cost contained and carried out in a professional, timely manner. Responsible for recognizing results or problems that require referral to the lab manager. Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field (required)
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) [preferred] Board certification required within one year of employment
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical laboratory setting
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Benefits Madison Regional Health offers an attractive benefits package for qualifying employees.
