Full Time What You Will Do:
Oversee the daily clinical and administrative operations of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, ensuring 24/7 readiness for emergency interventional procedures, including STEMI activations and traumatic vascular repairs within a high-volume Level 2 trauma setting. Lead a diverse team of Registered Nurses, Radiologic Technologists, and Cardiovascular Technicians; manage specialized staffing models, on-call rotations, and continuous professional development to ensure high-performance during complex, life-saving interventions.. Direct unit-based quality improvement initiatives and ensure strict adherence to ACC/AHA clinical guidelines, NCDR registry reporting, and Joint Commission standards, while maintaining a sterile, high-safety environment for invasive cardiac and peripheral procedures. Manage the departmental budget, including high-cost capital equipment and specialized inventory (stents, balloons, pacemakers); collaborate with supply chain and physicians to evaluate new technologies and optimize cost-per-case metrics without compromising patient outcomes.What You Will Need:
Licensure / Certification /Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Education:
