Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supervisor to oversee our Dental Laboratory operations, focusing on CAD-CAM (Computer-Aided Design and Computer-Aided Manufacturing) and Removable Prosthetics. This pivotal role involves supervising laboratory technicians, ensuring the highest quality standards, and maintaining efficient workflow processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in dental fabrication, and a thorough understanding of dental terminology, infection control, and laboratory procedures. Join us to lead a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional dental restorations and prosthetics that enhance patient outcomes. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of the CAD-CAM and Removable Laboratory teams, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met. Oversee the design, fabrication, and finishing of dental restorations using CAD software and milling equipment. Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure accurate interpretation of dental prescriptions and patient-specific requirements. Implement infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and proper sterilization procedures within the laboratory environment. Train and mentor laboratory technicians on new technologies, techniques, and best practices in dental fabrication. Maintain detailed documentation of laboratory procedures, quality control records, and technical specifications. Monitor inventory levels of materials and equipment, placing orders as needed to support ongoing operations. Requirements Proven experience in dental laboratory management or supervision with a focus on CAD-CAM systems and removable prosthetics. Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, medical imaging, and laboratory techniques. Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic for documentation purposes. Experience with medical coding, patient assessment, medical documentation, and HIPAA compliance. Proficiency in using micrometers, dental articulators, and other precision measurement tools. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively while maintaining a positive work environment. Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures in a lab setting.
