Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Equipment Manager to oversee the tracking, calibration readiness, and lifecycle management of tools, measurement devices, and production equipment within a manufacturing environment. In this role, you will maintain accurate equipment inventories, coordinate calibration schedules, manage asset records, and ensure all tools are properly tagged, inspected, and available when needed. You will work closely with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and laboratory teams to support operational readiness while maintaining full traceability and compliance with quality standards. Responsibilities include monitoring calibration status, coordinating repairs and vendor services, conducting equipment inspections, and maintaining accurate documentation within asset management systems. The ideal candidate has experience managing calibrated equipment and inventory systems, along with a strong understanding of metrology, calibration traceability, and quality requirements. You will help maintain organized tool cribs and storage areas, support audit activities, analyze equipment performance trends, and assist with the procurement and onboarding of new equipment. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate across multiple departments to ensure critical equipment remains available, compliant, and ready to support production schedules. Experience in aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries is highly preferred.
Compensation:
