Job Description

Work Schedule :
Full-time, 100% FTE, night shift. Monday - Friday working a flexible shift that will be discussed during the interview. No weekends required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Be part of something remarkable Bring your leadership experience to UW Health. We are seeking a Supervisor, WI Sleep Lab to:
  • Lead and develop an effective staff: provide effective communication, guidance, resources and work collaboratively with leadership.
  • Schedule and supervise sleep studies, ensure adherence to protocols and AASM quality standards, coordinate staff schedules, facilitate training and onboarding, and provide technical guidance.
  • Identify and solve operational problems, reduce costs, improve efficiency, and improve overall operation of the sleep lab.
  • Provide patient care, as needed, and/or act as a clinical resource and mentor to staff. At UW Health, you will have :

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or another related field Preferred
  • Registered sleep technician or registered respiratory therapist Preferred Work Experience
  • 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting Required
  • 1 year of leadership experience Required
  • 5 years of experience performing all direct care duties as a Sleep Technician Preferred
  • 1 year of supervisory experience or teaching experience in a Sleep Technician program or other healthcare setting Preferred Licenses & Certifications
  • CMS recognized certification as a Registered Sleep Technician within 2 Yrs Required or
  • Registration as a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) within 2 Yrs Required
  • CPR Certification Upon Hire Required
