Job Requirements A Day in the Life of a Cath Lab Supervisor The Cath Lab Supervisor is responsible for oversight of Catheterization/Electrophysiology Lab specific services, programs, and Hold Room (pre/post care) operations. The Cath Lab Supervisor collaborates with all Cheyenne Regional cardiac interdisciplinary teams in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the system wide specialty program/service. The position is a subject matter expert of Cath Lab operations and procedures. Why Work at Cheyenne Regional? What You Will Be Doing:
Provides leadership, guidance, and support to Cardiac Services staff. Assures an environment of teamwork and collaboration by fostering effective positive communications and giving and receiving feedback. Rounds on patients to ensure highest quality of care and patient experience. Assists the nursing staff in the delivery of direct patient care within scope of license or certification. Participates in staffing interviews selection, and facilitation of orientation for all new employees. Assists and provides input on employee annual performance evaluations as requested by Cardiac Services leadership. Promotes a culture of safety and quality including ongoing staff development and competency process collaboration. Communicates and asigns the daily activities of the Cardiac Cath/Electrophysiology Lab department(s) and and creates staff schedule matrix that supports patient and physician requirements to provide adequate coverage. Informs the Clinical Manageron all matters pertinent to the operation of the department . Submits orders for section supplies for daily operations and assists Clinical Manager in evaluating supply needs for capital budgets and ensures resources are appropriately utilized. Leads initiatives and is accountable for all quality and safety, procedural, patient volume growth, and patient experience within department. Facilitates, organizes, and reviews the daily workflow to deliver maximal throughput of all Cardiac Cath/Electrophysiology Lab procedures performed on all qualifying patients as determined by a licensed provider. Maintain current procedural protocols, computer files, equipment maintenance program, and quality control data to meeting regulatory requirements. Ensures facility technical and documentation expectations are consistent with Joint Commission regulations and CRMC standards. Participates in call as required.

What You Need:
Bachelor's degree or higher One of the following:
  • Current Wyoming Registered Nurse License or enhanced Nurse Licensure (eNLC) prior to start date.
  • Certification from a Radiation Tech program (I or II)
  • Wyoming Radiologic Tech license.
  • Scrub Tech Certification.
  • Wyoming EMT or National EMT or Paramedic Certification.
