Job Description

Category Laboratory•Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Advance your laboratory career with a dynamic opportunity as a Generalist Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician. This contract role calls for a knowledgeable professional to perform essential lab diagnostics, supporting quality patient care during the 3rd shift (7:30 p.m.•7:30 a.m.).
Schedule:
3rd shift: 7:30 p.m.•7:30 a.m.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) required Experience as a generalist in laboratory settings strongly preferred Thorough knowledge of laboratory best practices, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements Ability to effectively and accurately perform a broad range of laboratory tests Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently during overnight shifts Willingness to adapt to changes and maintain compliance with exemption policies, if applicable
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct and analyze laboratory tests across multiple disciplines (chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, immunology, etc.) Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment Accurately document, review, and verify test results for quality assurance Collaborate with healthcare professionals to relay critical or unexpected results promptly Uphold laboratory safety and standard operating procedures Ensure specimens are properly labeled, stored, and processed in line with regulatory standards Support ongoing process improvements to uphold high standards of patient care
