13 Weeks Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) with a strong Blood Bank background to join a high-volume acute care hospital laboratory. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently during night shifts and possess extensive experience in transfusion services within large hospital environments. Schedule 4x10-Hour Shifts Night Shift Rotating weekends and holidays as required Required Certifications ASCP Blood Bank (BB) Certification Preferred Certifications Specialist in Clinical Immunohematology (SBB/CIS) Experience Requirements Minimum 2 years of Clinical Laboratory experience (required) Recent Blood Bank experience within the last 2 years (required) Previous Blood Bank travel assignment experience (required) Experience in a Level I Trauma Center (required) Teaching hospital experience preferred Experience in a large acute care facility with 300+ beds required First-time travelers will not be considered Required Skills Blood Bank / Transfusion Services Type and Screen Testing Crossmatching Antibody Identification Blood Product Preparation and Issue Transfusion Reaction Workups Quality Control and Regulatory Compliance Independent Night Shift Operations High-Volume Laboratory Processing Epic EMR Experience Blood Bank Software Experience (any platform) Experience handling 30-50+ specimens per day in a high-volume setting Preferred Experience WellSky Blood Bank Software Immucor Instrumentation For more details reach at or Call / Text at 732 791 4807- EXT 4807 .
