Job Description

Job Title:
Clinical Laboratory Scientist Description:
The Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs and prioritizes a wide range of clinical laboratory tests on biological specimens. Responsibilities include reviewing, evaluating, documenting, and accurately reporting results, while ensuring strict confidentiality and adherence to laboratory safety and maintenance protocols. The role may also involve training and supervising laboratory trainees, assistants, and clerks as needed.
Schedule:
Day shift with variable start times Consecutive days, Monday through Friday Occasional weekend shifts required
Requirements:
Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license (required)
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Allied Health Technologies, or equivalent (required) Prior clinical laboratory experience (preferred)
Licenses & Certifications:
Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license (required) Certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or National Credentialing Agency for Laboratories (NCA) (preferred) AL01
Job Types:
