Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Permanent An outstanding opportunity is available for a skilled Medical Technologist to join a progressive clinical laboratory team in a permanent position on the 1st shift. This essential role emphasizes a well-rounded generalist background with an emphasis on blood bank proficiency. As a key member of the laboratory staff, you will perform clinical testing essential for patient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team to ensure consistent quality and accuracy in results.

Key Qualifications:
Active Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license in California is required No ASCP certification required Proven experience as a generalist in a clinical laboratory setting Strong competence in blood banking techniques and procedures Excellent analytical skills and keen attention to detail Effective communication and collaboration abilities Commitment to maintaining high standards in patient safety and laboratory best practices
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostic laboratory testing across all departments, with particular responsibility for blood bank procedures Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments according to protocol Prepare specimens, analyze results, and accurately document findings Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide crucial laboratory data Participate in quality control, proficiency testing, and operational review processes Adhere to established laboratory and regulatory policies and procedures You will be working in an environment that values accuracy, integrity, and team collaboration while supporting advancements in patient diagnostics.
