• $65 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits Travel reimbursement Health insurance Dental insurance Qualifications Clinical Laboratory Scientist License Medical laboratory work Full Job Description Global Service Resources is looking for 10 contract Clinical Laboratory Scientists for California Department of Public Health's Laboratory Field Services branch.

You would work at either of the following DPH branches:

• 320 4th St #890, Los Angeles, CA 90013
• 850 Marina Bay Parkway, Richmond Ca 94804 However, some services shall be provided within various laboratory settings throughout California and beyond during on-site reviews and complaint investigations.

Mileage will be compensated.

Pay Rate:

$60 to $65/hr on W2 depending on experience

Schedule:

Mon to Fri 8AM to 5

PM Contract:

3 years with a chance of extension

Expected Start Date:

Must be able to start on July 1st, 2026.

Requirements:

• At least 3 full years of experience as a CLS
• Must have a CLS license (Generalist or Specialized
• although Generalist is preferred)
• Must have and use own vehicle to travel to inspection sites.

Job:

• The CLS professionals will provide lab inspections, evaluate CLS training programs, compliance, and public health oversight for the State of California.
• Generalist or Specialist Licensed both accepted, but generalist is preferred.
• The anticipated percentage of travel for onsite inspections is 60%. When not traveling, the staff is expected to work on reports, inspection follow-ups, and after inspection reporting.
• The 10 CLS will have a manger oversee and provide operational support.

Personal documents and references will be collected. You will not receive the same benefits as a direct employee of the facility. However, you will be able to sign up for Kaiser healthcare and Delta dental after 90 days of employment. No paid vacation time, but you will start to accrue 5 sick days after 90 days of employment.
