This essential role supports quality patient care with a focus on general laboratory testing and expertise in blood banking.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license required Demonstrated proficiency as a generalist and strong competency in blood bank procedures Prior experience working as a Medical Technologist in a clinical or hospital laboratory Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong collaboration and communication skills with ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of moderate and high complexity laboratory tests across core disciplines, including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and microbiology, with a focus on blood bank operations Process, analyze, and report laboratory test results in accordance with established protocols and quality standards Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment; troubleshoot instrumentation and resolve technical issues as needed Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, safety procedures, and documentation requirements Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to deliver accurate and timely laboratory information that supports diagnosis and treatment decisions This permanent role allows you to grow professionally in a supportive and well-equipped laboratory environment, delivering high-impact care for your community.
