Job Description

Best Nest Management is looking for Clinical Laboratory Scientist, CLS, to work in a State Laboratory in Richmond, CA . All applicants must have 1 year of experience. For additional information please contact Wendy at (310)617-1721
Requirements:
1 year of experience within the last three (3) years as CLS (Required) Active CA State MTA License (Required) BLS (American Heart Association) (Required)
Location:
Fresno, CA Full Time Contract:
6 months (possible extension for longer term)
Pay Rate:
$75.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p Weekly payroll

Responsibilities:
Assist with laboratory testing and processing lab results All procedures are performed in an accurate and timely manner as directed by facility and/or licensed designee within the scope of practice. Arrive at the facility on time, before the scheduled shift starts to sign-in at the nursing office and report to the floor-unit for orientation. Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of the facility.
Clinical Laboratory Scientist Duties:
  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases
  • Collect and analyze samples such as blood, urine, and tissue for testing
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
  • Ensure accuracy and precision in test results by following established protocols and quality control measures
  • Interpret test results, prepare reports, and communicate findings to healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tests
  • Stay updated on advancements in laboratory technology and techniques
