San Jose, CA Compensation:
Not specified in original posting This medical device manufacturer is hiring a Medical Technologist to provide clinical applications and operational support on their lab instrumentation across the greater San Francisco Bay Area. The company is financially stable and well established, and will provide product-specific training.
Schedule:
Full time, on site, with some overnight travel required.
Compensation:
$75,000 - $110,000
Per Year What You'll Do:
This Medical Technologist will provide operational and clinical applications support on the company's lab instrumentation for customers across the greater San Francisco and San Jose area, applying strong knowledge of QC/Westgard rules, CLSI validation protocols, IQCP, and related regulatory requirements. The role includes some overnight travel to support customer sites, and the company will provide training on its specific product line.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field MT (ASCP) certification Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Technologist Strong understanding of QC/Westgard rules, CLSI validation protocols, IQCP, and regulatory requirements Must reside in the greater San Francisco, CA or San Jose, CA area (no relocation offered) Willingness to travel overnight as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in clinical applications or field-based technical support
