Work Schedule:
Tuesday
  • Saturday 3:00pm
  • 11:30pm Job Responsibilities Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures Perform appropriate QA/QC procedures Operate and maintain equipment and instruments according to manufacturer and Monogram established procedures including: analysis of clinical specimens, calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting May be appointed to oversee specialized processes or appointed to a unique coordinating role, such as safety or QC Actively participate in continuing education and in service training programs for licensure Reagent and viral stock preparation and qualification May assist in development of new assays and technology transfer from research and development Review and release results in the Laboratory Information System Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology California state issued Clinical Lab Science license (CLS)•Generalist Preferred Qualification Current or prior Labcorp experience Additional Job Standards Ability to work in a collaborative, flexible environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong computer skills and attention to detail Able to pass a standardized colorblindness test At Labcorp we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives.

  • Pay Range:
    $52.00
  • $67.
00 per hour Plus 2nd shift differential All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
Benefits:
Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
