Job Description

Description The Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs a variety of standardized and highly specialized analyses of tests in Chemistry, Immunology, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Microbiology, and/or Blood Bank.

Ensures accurate, reliable, and timely test results throughout pre‑analytical, analytical, and post‑analytical phases. Supports patient diagnosis, treatment, and clinical decision‑making through high‑quality laboratory services. Utilizes computer and phone systems to facilitate communication and workflow efficiency. Builds strong customer relationships while delivering a professional, positive, and empathetic service experience.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology / Clinical Laboratory Science / Biological Science or equivalent Current Licensure as a CLS in the State of California Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the hospital Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Must be willing to work variable shifts and overtime as required Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Ability to identify and distinguish colors Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions This is an on-site role @ Foothill Regional Medical Center in Tustin, CA The hourly rate is: $55.00 per hour Astrana Health is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
