Qualifications & Skills:

Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license required Proven experience as a medical technologist with strong generalist skills Solid background in blood bank procedures is essential Excellent attention to detail and adherence to laboratory protocols Team-oriented mindset with strong communication abilities ASCP certification not required

Key Responsibilities:

Perform complex testing in all areas of the clinical laboratory, with a focus on blood bank operations Accurately analyze, record, and report laboratory findings in compliance with quality control standards Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment Participate in troubleshooting, quality assurance, and process improvement initiatives Collaborate with laboratory staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient safety
