Toxicology Laboratory Technologist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Toxicology Technologist to join our clinical laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with high-throughput analyzers and instruments commonly used in toxicology testing. This position requires a professional who can work independently and contribute to accurate and timely results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform toxicology testing and analysis on patient specimens Operate and maintain instruments including

AU 680 , AU 400 , IMMTOX

, Agilent systems , and Shimadzu analyzers Prepare reagents, calibrate instruments, and perform quality control procedures Accurately document and review results in the LIS system Follow laboratory protocols and CLIA regulations Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and supervisors Assist with instrument troubleshooting and preventive maintenance

Qualifications:

Must hold a valid Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License in the appropriate specialty Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field 2-plus years of toxicology or clinical chemistry experience required Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately Experience with high-throughput analyzers and

LC-MS/MS

is a plus

Schedule:

Tuesday to Saturday Some flexibility in hours may be required based on lab workload
