As a Medical Technologist with Lee Health, you'll play a vital role in our healthcare system.Your responsibilities will include:
Performing clinical laboratory testing accurately and efficiently for all patient types. Conducting a variety of tests, from waived to high complexity, ensuring compliance with regulations. Participating in quality control and equipment maintenance activities to uphold our standards. Prioritizing workload effectively to meet the needs of patients and colleagues. Contributing to process improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency. Demonstrating exceptional customer service skills with patients, staff, and stakeholders.Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in laboratory technology, chemical, or biological sciences.Experience:
Completion of an accredited clinical laboratory technologist training program.Licensure:

Scheduling Link! Summary Responsible for performing clinical laboratory testing for all patient types in a timely, efficient and accurate manner. Performs waived, moderate and high complexity tests in accordance with state, federal and other regulatory requirements. Completes equipment maintenance, quality control and quality management activities in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and departmental policies and procedures. Is able to prioritize workload and demonstrate flexibility to meet customer and departmental needs. Actively participates in process improvement to enhance turnaround times and quality of test results utilizing decision making and troubleshooting skills. Effectively communicates and demonstrates good customer service throughout the health system to include nursing staff, physicians, patients, co-workers and other LMHS customers and employees. Requirements Educational Requirements Degree/Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required/ Preferred and/or Bachelor's AssociatesRequired Requiredor Additional Requirements Bachelors or Associates degree with concentration in laboratory technology, chemical, or biological sciences.
