Job Description

Job Title:
Medical Technologist, Blood Bank (No MLT's)
Location:
Arredondo, FL We are currently seeking a qualified Medical Technologist to join our Blood Bank team in Arredondo, FL.
Responsibilities:
Perform complex laboratory tests on blood, body fluids, and tissue samples with a high level of accuracy Ensure proper handling and processing of blood products Provide timely and accurate test results for patient diagnosis and treatment Maintain laboratory equipment and adhere to quality control standards Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) by ASCP or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of experience in a blood bank setting Strong knowledge of blood banking procedures and regulations Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
