Full Job Description Overview:

At First Choice Laboratory, we offer a comprehensive suite of molecular and genetic testing services, delivering accurate, reliable and timely results. Our focus on innovation and scientific excellence ensures the highest level of precision in diagnostics. We are currently hiring a licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our growing team in a Laboratory environment specializing in molecular and genetic testing. This role is ONSITE and offers flexible scheduling options and the opportunity to work with cutting edge technology in a high impact fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities

• Perform high complexity testing in molecular and genetics diagnostics, including PCR and other nucleic acid amplification techniques.
• Accurately process, analyze and report results in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards.
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment, with a focus on Thermofisher platforms and technologies.
• Maintain quality assurance protocols and ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, managing time and workflow efficiently.
• Collaborate with clinical team when needed to ensure timely, accurate reporting and patient care support.

-Check in samples and accession samples.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in laboratory science or related field.
• Current and valid Florida State License as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
• 1-2 years of experience in result reporting within a molecular or genetic testing Lab.
• Hands-on experience with Quant studio or Similar instruments and Q-PCR is required.
• Strong technical skills and familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS).
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Work Hours:

9.30AM-5.30PM

OR 10AM -6PM EST
