Job Description

Experteer Overview In this Laboratory role, you perform clinical tests to support accurate diagnoses under supervision. You will work with teams across pathology operations to ensure timely, high-quality results while adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines. You'll contribute to the evaluation of new instruments and procedures, and you'll help maintain a compliant, efficient lab environment. This position offers a chance to impact patient care through meticulous testing and ongoing quality improvement.
Compensation / Benefits
  • Perform laboratory tests and report results within required turnaround times
  • Maintain instrument and reagent quality control, calibration, and preventive maintenance
  • Ensure safety, PPE use, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance across the lab
  • Participate in proficiency testing, CAP/FDA audits, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Review storage, re-agents, and processes for daily compliance
  • Contribute to teaching and rotation of students and staff
  • Evaluate and implement new test procedures and instrumentation per CAP standards
  • Provide accurate patient test results and communicate critical values promptly
  • Support department lean processes and continuous improvement efforts
  • Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Tasks
  • Florida State License required
  • Florida licensure and CE requirements for license renewal
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal
  • Ability to interpret and analyze information for laboratory procedures
  • Ability to use computer systems to access and enter patient data
  • Knowledge of laboratory techniques and instrumentation
  • Confidentiality of sensitive information and HIPAA adherence
  • Ability to work cooperatively with physicians, patients, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to perform under stress and adapt standard procedures to individual needs Key requirements
