Medical Technologist (Blood Bank) / Medical Laboratory Scientist•

Northside Hospital Atlanta Position:
Medical Technologist (Blood Bank) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
Contract:
13 Weeks (07/13/2026•10/10/2026)
Shift:
Nights | 11:00 PM•7:30 AM (Every Other Weekend Rotation)
Guaranteed Hours:
40 Hours/Week Travel Assignment Only No Local Candidates (Must live more than 50 miles from the facility)
Night Shift No On-Call Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent Blood Bank Medical Technologist experience Must be a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT) will not be considered Prior travel experience required Experience with Sysmex and CellaVision systems Experience in a 600+ bed acute care hospital laboratory preferred Strong experience performing manual differentials , including neonatal specimens Experience handling complex specimens , including platelet clumps, turbid samples, and abnormal cell findings
Additional Information:
Every other weekend rotation required Floating may be required (Optional) Compliance due by the Wednesday before the Monday start date Biweekly pay cycle No pricing negotiations permitted Please let me know if you'd like to be considered for this opportunity.

$46.87•$50.00 per hour
