Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Specializing in laboratory diagnostics, this role offers experienced Medical Technologists the opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic healthcare setting. This assignment is for a 13-week duration and is specifically open to Medical Technologist (MT) candidates with a well-rounded background as Generalists.
Schedule:
3x12 hour shifts each week Weekend day shifts
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) required Proven experience working as a laboratory Generalist in a clinical setting Strong understanding of standard laboratory operations, procedures, and quality control protocols Proficiency with a variety of laboratory instruments and electronic medical records Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare staff and deliver critical lab results
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality laboratory testing in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and immunology as a Generalist Ensure accurate, timely analysis and reporting of test results in compliance with regulatory standards Maintain laboratory instruments, monitor QC, and perform troubleshooting as necessary Accurately record test data and uphold strict documentation practices Support a safe, organized laboratory environment, following established policies and safety procedures Provide guidance for laboratory best practices and assist with training newer staff as requested If you are a detail-oriented Medical Technologist with Generalist experience seeking a challenging, rewarding assignment in a fast-paced clinical laboratory, we encourage you to apply today.
