This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art laboratory environment, performing vital diagnostic tests that contribute directly to patient care and clinical research. The ideal candidate will possess extensive laboratory experience, a strong understanding of laboratory procedures, and proficiency with advanced testing techniques. Please note, this position is open exclusively to candidates residing more than 50 miles from the facility, ensuring we attract dedicated professionals committed to excellence in laboratory science. Duties Perform a wide range of laboratory tests including ELISA, PCR, flow cytometry, immunoassays, and other specialized assays for clinical diagnostics and research purposes Manage and maintain accurate data records using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards Conduct specimen collection, processing, and preparation, including blood sampling, venipuncture, and blood banking procedures Extract RNA, isolate DNA, and execute other molecular biology techniques such as tissue or cell sample preparation for downstream analysis Operate and troubleshoot advanced laboratory equipment including CT scanners, flow cytometers, and PCR machines Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and laboratory safety protocols during all procedures Contribute to clinical trials or research projects by executing laboratory experiments with precision and documenting results thoroughly Maintain detailed records of laboratory activities, perform quality control checks, and assist in laboratory management tasks such as inventory control and equipment calibration Skills Extensive knowledge of clinical laboratory procedures, medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and blood banking practices Proficiency in data analysis skills to interpret complex test results accurately Hands-on experience with laboratory techniques including
ELISA, PCR, RNA
extraction, DNA isolation, flow cytometry, immunoassays, and specimen processing Strong understanding of laboratory management systems and specimen tracking workflows Excellent venipuncture skills combined with the ability to perform blood sampling efficiently and safely Familiarity with hospital laboratory environments and experience working within clinical or research laboratories Ability to communicate technical information clearly and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high standards of aseptic technique and safety protocols in all laboratory activities Join us in advancing healthcare through innovative laboratory science!
