Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Contribute your laboratory expertise to an essential healthcare team in a dynamic setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for individuals with a background in laboratory sciences, specifically those skilled as Medical Technologists or Medical Lab Technicians. There are multiple positions available for motivated professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to delivering high-quality test results.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Proven experience in conducting and interpreting a variety of laboratory tests (hematology, chemistry, microbiology, serology, or transfusion services) Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Solid knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and quality assurance processes Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team Effective communication skills with clinicians and laboratory peers Current compliance with all applicable licensure requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately perform laboratory testing in accordance with established protocols Analyze, document, and validate test results for clinical accuracy Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment Communicate critical and abnormal results to appropriate healthcare staff promptly Participate in ongoing quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and proficiency testing Maintain meticulous records and ensure adherence to safety and confidentiality standards
