Job Description

Blood Bank / Hematology Medical Technologist A healthcare organization is seeking a Blood Bank / Hematology Medical Technologist to join their laboratory team on a full-time permanent basis .
Position Details:

Responsibilities:
Perform testing in Blood Bank and Hematology departments Conduct compatibility testing, antibody identification, and transfusion-related procedures Analyze and report accurate patient test results Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation Follow quality assurance, quality control, and laboratory safety protocols Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support patient care and transfusion services
Requirements:
ASCP certification preferred or required for many positions Associate or Bachelor s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field Previous Blood Bank and/or Hematology experience preferred Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced laboratory environment Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply for immediate consideration.
