Job Description

Description WinnMed is seeking a PRN Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Lab Technician to join our Laboratory Services team! Medical Lab Scientists perform a wide-range of diagnostic testing. This position is responsible for performing advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, problem resolution; assessing specimen quality and test validity. Position is PRN or "as needed" which may include a variety of shifts. Holiday rotation of 1-2 holidays per year is required. Requirements Completion of a Medical/ Clinical Laboratory Science program or equivalent Certification by a registry board (ASCP, AMT or equivalent) as MLS or MLT BLS certification required Previous medical technologist experience preferred Organizational skills and ability to prioritize test requests required High degree of accuracy and reliability required
