The Polysomnographic Technologist works under the general supervision of the Clinical Director (MD, DO, or PhD, or designee) to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services or patient care and education. A Polysomnographic Technologist can perform the duties to find for a polysomnographic technician and may provide supervision of other staff. Associate Degree with an emphasis on polysomnography, or successful completion of polysomnography program of no less than one year duration from an accredited educational facility. OR Equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of polysomnographic technician and certified by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent. BLS certification through AHA required. RPSGT or RST required within 6 months of eligibility date The pay grade assigned to this position is 4000 ; the link provided shows the pay range.
