Job DescriptionMaintain equipment readiness within established parameters governing regulatory compliance expectations so that all reasonable customer requests pertaining to the conduct of testing are met in a timely and effective mannerAssist in the interpretation of calibration records requested by customers during on-site auditsParticipate in customer audits as directed by Quality ManagementParticipate in department and/or company-wide projects designed to improve the nature of customer servicePlay the lead role in the resolution of Out-of-Tolerance eventsAssist Management in addressing and resolving Corrective or Preventive actions as they relate to equipmentEnsure that testing staff working in the laboratory receive the help and cooperation they need on equipment used to successfully complete their studiesPrepare protocols related to validation and requalification of equipment and ensure all schedules are being maintainedPrepare impact assessment reports for the equipment involved in out-of-tolerance eventsCoordinate outside calibration testing for equipment as neededWork closely with department and metrology management in the qualification or retiring of equipment within the laboratoryQualificationsAssociate's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a science-related field1+ years experience in a regulated laboratory environment, working with general lab equipmentThorough knowledge of scientific principlesAbility to think analytically; problem-solving skills are essentialKnowledge of and familiarity with word processing and database software required 
Additional InformationSalary:
