The ideal candidate will have experience in sleep disorder diagnostics, strong knowledge of EEG monitoring, anatomy and physiology, and the ability to perform comprehensive sleep studies while delivering exceptional patient care.

07/13/2026 Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in sleep disorder diagnostics. Current Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification required. Current BLS certification required. High School Diploma or higher education required. Prior travel experience preferred. Strong knowledge of EEG monitoring, sleep study procedures, anatomy, and physiology. Ability to recognize and document sleep-related events and abnormalities. Excellent communication, patient assessment, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts. Responsibilities Perform and monitor overnight polysomnography studies in accordance with established protocols. Prepare patients for sleep studies by applying sensors and monitoring equipment accurately. Record and evaluate physiological data including EEG, EKG, respiratory effort, oxygen saturation, and other sleep-related parameters. Identify, document, and report abnormal sleep patterns and events. Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure proper functioning of monitoring systems. Educate patients regarding sleep study procedures and answer questions to promote comfort and cooperation. Maintain accurate documentation and patient records. Adhere to safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to support diagnosis and treatment planning. Participate in on-call coverage and weekend scheduling as required.
Pay:
$40.00 - $45.00 per hour
