Student Respiratory (Registry/Alternating Shifts)

Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus 8111 S Emerson Ave Indianapolis, Indiana 46237 The Student Respiratory position provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and educational services for adult patients to the extent that their Student Permit to Practice Respiratory Care allows. This is a developmental position, intended for incumbents to gain the expertise and skills to successfully complete education requirements.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Schedule procedures. Inform supervisor of problems as they arise. Communicate and interact with physicians. Follow hospital infection control and isolation procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Enrolled in Respiratory program Required High School Diploma/GED Required Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association Required within 90 days of hire Student Permit to Practice Respiratory Care - State Licensing Board
