Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for Medical Lab Generalist / Medical Technologist to provide support for our client's healthcare systems in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This is a contract assignmentwith a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

13 Weeks Pay Range for
Traveler:
$1,700.00•$1,770.00
Weekly DOE Local Candidates:
Not accepted (must live more than 50 miles away) Requirements Minimum 2-3 years of experience required Blood Bank experience required Louisiana (LA) license required One professional reference required Required Skills Blood Bank & Generalist laboratory experience CBC Manual & Manual Differential CellaVision Sysmex XM Roche Cobas Analyzer & automated instrument use Microscopic urinalysis Specimen preparation and storage Quality assurance & quality control interpretation Hormone & thyroid testing Cardiac enzymes Therapeutic drug monitoring Pregnancy testing Platelet count & reticulocyte count Rheumatoid factor Rubella serology RPR testing Stool analysis Occult blood testing Proper labeling & disposal procedures Hazardous materials/MSDS knowledge Transmission-based precautions
