Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sleep Technologist to support the daily operations of a Sleep Lab within a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will coordinate sleep study functions, perform diagnostic testing, assist physicians during procedures, and ensure high-quality patient care across all age groups. This role requires strong technical knowledge, patient care skills, and the ability to maintain a professional and efficient clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and support the daily operations of the Sleep Lab Set up, adjust, and operate sleep study equipment and related medical instruments Perform diagnostic sleep testing as ordered by physicians Monitor and support patients throughout sleep study procedures Provide therapeutic interventions and maintain a strong patient care focus Assist physicians during sleep lab procedures and testing Address age-specific patient needs including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to departmental guidelines Ensure compliance with departmental policies, safety standards, and clinical procedures Maintain equipment functionality and order supplies as needed Utilize effective time management and organizational skills Deliver excellent customer service to patients, families, visitors, and healthcare staff Perform additional administrative and departmental duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Board Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) required Current CPR Certification required Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a clinical environment Experience operating sleep study and monitoring equipment preferred Excellent organizational and time management abilities required For more details reach at or Call / Text at 732-791-4827.
