Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced professional to fill a key laboratory role in a healthcare setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for individuals with a strong background as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician, who can deliver reliable and accurate results during night shifts. Flexible 4x10-hour night shifts are available, with exact hours to be discussed during the interview process. Note that holiday coverage is not required for this assignment.
Qualifications:
Active ASCP certification required Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician Comprehensive understanding of laboratory procedures and protocols Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality standards Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team Demonstrated proficiency in laboratory equipment and software
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of laboratory tests, analyses, and procedures with accuracy and efficiency Validate and report test results in accordance with established laboratory policies Ensure proper operation and maintenance of laboratory instruments Adhere to all quality control standards and safety regulations Assist with troubleshooting errors and resolving issues related to laboratory testing Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers to support patient care Enjoy the benefit of a predictable schedule with no holiday coverage requirements and the opportunity to work alongside skilled professionals in a supportive environment.
