Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Take the next step in your laboratory career by joining a dynamic healthcare environment, where your expertise as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician will be valued and utilized to its fullest. This contract role offers the opportunity to deliver top-tier diagnostic services and collaborate with an experienced clinical laboratory team.
Schedule:
Four 10-hour night shifts each week (specific hours to be discussed during the interview) No holiday coverage required
Qualifications:
Active ASCP certification required Minimum of 1 year recent experience working as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician Strong proficiency in laboratory processes, procedures, and safety protocols Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively with clinical staff and fellow laboratory members
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct a range of diagnostic tests on patient specimens for clinical evaluations Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure accurate results Verify and validate laboratory data, reporting results to providers in a timely manner Follow all lab policies for sample handling, quality control, and documentation Troubleshoot technical issues and participate in process improvements as needed Uphold all regulatory standards and maintain an environment focused on safety and accuracy Enjoy the advantages of working a flexible night schedule without holiday obligations, allowing for greater work-life balance within a supportive clinical setting.
