Job Overview Job Description Perform chemical, microbiologic, immunologic, hematologic, and immunohematologic laboratorial procedures. Process specimens by making slides, preparing solutions, mixing reagents, and filtering, heating, centrifuging, or titrating reagents as necessary. Observe reactions for physical or chemical changes using various laboratory analysis equipment in order to complete laboratory determinations. May require certification from American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel, Inc. (NCA) or American Medical Technologists (AMT). Each year approximately 300 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
